Damp crawlspace in Black Creek, now dry

This 1990's home had a very damp crawlspace; the 6mil poly under the skim coat had failed and moisture was wicking up into the poorly insulated crawlspace. As well, it was a heated space, but had lots of cold air coming in through the passive vents and hatch. Mould, high wood moisture content, and musty smells were a result.

We installed our CleanSpace encapsulation membrane, properly insulated the exterior walls, built an air-tight hatch, and installed a far superior sump system to help de-water the sub-floor layer. Our SmartSump system with the optional UltraSump battery back-up pump.

Now the crawlspace is clean, dry, energy efficient and a much healthier space too. An asset to the home!
